Magic Flute Sarastro
Björn Wiinblad made his dream of illustrating Mozart’s opera “The Magic Flute” in relief form come true with this porcelain service. Probably the most technically complex Rosenthal studio-line form evokes the appearance of a production of the famous Mozart opera in porcelain. Each set element displays a detailed relief or one of the opera scenes. The undersides display the respective libretto text in the ornamental Wiinblad handwriting.
丹麥藝術設計大師，1957年開始受Rosenthal 之邀,成為其知名首席設計師，在90'年代前,是瓷器創作最為活躍的時候尤以60,70'年代為甚!其于羅森泰知名的設計，除了陶瓷以外,玻璃水晶的創 作量也相當優異，著名的有：Magic Flute(魔笛--莫扎特著名歌劇)、阿拉伯之夜、阿拉丁、1001夜、Don Giovanni(喬凡尼)、圣誕年度杯盤、Romanze(羅曼史)、Lotus(蓮花)...等系列. 也設計了限量的家具與棋盤。 1997年,還推出他任職羅森泰四十年紀念作品-Flower Fairy(花仙子)系列，盤底有他的紀念文句與親筆簽名。
